A Note from your chapter manager: April 21, 2013
Bruce Springsteen, The Dixie Chicks and James Taylor will unfortunately not be able to attend the May competition at Aqus. Haven't heard back from Paul Simon, Paul Anka, Ellis Paul or Paul McCartney yet. DO NOT let this dissuade you. No! Come to the May competition on May 15th at Aqus Cafe and play your songs anyway. Chick who is giving the "Best Song" winner 3 hours of recording time, will be our judge. The fabulous Cliff Goldmacher will be judging in June. And the reknown Steve Seskin and accomplished north bay diva, Teresa Tudury will be judging the finals in July.
May & June will be the last 2 months of competitions for the year. Mark Rafferty will not be in attendance this May as he will be performing, (his infamous dance of the 7 veils), in Europe. They love him over there. So, in his absence, (and in his honor), law and order will temporarily be suspended at WCS Petaluma in May...which means it really is okay to c'mon out and sing your heart out!
Remember, sign-ups at 6:30 - competition begins at 7. Be there...or be an L-7.

Songwriters Competitions
- Held 3rd Wednesday of every month
- Location: Aqus Cafe, H Street, Petaluma, 707.778.6060
- SIGN-UP: 6:30 pm. Start time: 7 pm.
Best Song winners receive the following:
- Playoff winner will attend the WCS Grand Finals in August to win the chance to perform at the Sunset Concert at the Music Conference in front of a house full of industry leaders, friends and family.
