Congratulations to Sylvie Simhon, Grand Prize Winner and Mark Keller, 1st Runner Up of our annual International Song Contest. 

One thing I love about these blog posts is giving our volunteer managers the opportunity to tell there story too.  Too often when you run to the chapter competitions you don't have the opportunity to get to know the managers...so here's your chance.

When I was young I remember watching music videos on TV and reenacting them in front of the mirror. All that practice came in handy last month when one of my dreams was realized and I released a video of my own.

The cat is out of the bag...YES... WCS is working with a well known TV Show to produce a Special Song Competition for their final show.

Have you entered the WCS Song Competition yet?  The deadline is March 13th, so be sure to get your application in soon.  

Are you using social media to increase your fan base?  Do you really understand how it works and what to do, or are you silently swimming upstream?  Trust me, you're not alone. The world is changing so fast and the new marketing systems are overwhelming for most people.

If you're around the San Francisco Bay Area- be sure to stop by the WCS Songwriter Competitions in San Francisco at Cafe Royal. Or, perhaps register for  The San Francisco Song Screenings which are managed by Starr Saunders.  Starr spends countless hours putting together an inspiring and exciting program for WCS Members who wish to have songs critiqued by industry guests.
