Excitement
The excitement is mounting at the WCS Office. It's only a few weeks away from the 30th Annual Music Conference and there's so many fabulous people attending this year.
I can't wait to see those familiar faces of the WCS Family - you know those people like the incredible songwriters who are willing to share their knowledge with us about how they have written so many number #1 hits. So inspirational and incredible that they're willing to sit next to me and chat about it. Where else would you get that chance?? Last year, I sat chatting with Mike Pinder (who has since joined the WCS Advisory Board), he was so calm, generous and inspirational in his suggestions, comments and insights that I felt on top of the world at the end of the day. I went home at the end of the weekend feeling recharged, full of thoughts and even more excited about sitting down and writing about it.
I've been looking at the list of attendees this year and each day people are added and I think of all the seminars I wish to be part of. Being new to this stuff, I can't wait to hear about the Social Media Aspect... how do I twitter? why should i do it? Can't wait to hear the explanations, directions and answers from experts across the table from me. I have followed Dave Peck's persona since the beginning, but never realized who it was! What a treat... can't wait.
I've also heard the Enrique Gonzalez Muller will be providing an incredible workshop about what it means to be 'produced, arranged and engineered by Enrique. I haven't heard the final details, but I believe this will be a two part seminar where Enrique will actually work with some of the musicians directly. I really think this is going to be an incredible seminar. I can't wait.
