WCS is proud to announce that Ezra Henderson a 17 year-old pop artist and songwriter from San Luis Obispo, CA. has received a youth scholarship award to attend the 36th Annual Music Conference from Rocket21.  Rocket21 offers youth the power to discover their futures, by exploring their interests and passions through creative collaborations with world-class organizations and leading experts. WCS offers the opportunity for aspiring singer/songwriters to build their career, network with leading industry members and explore the path and goals to become a songwriter, both professionally and for personal gain. Ezra will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders in music, TV/Film and Recording companies. 

As a singer, producer, pianist, guitarist, drummer and dancer, Ezra commands the stage with passion, musicianship, and professionalism. he has performed with many national tours including: Teen Hoot, where he won  the contest, BraveFest, Social Slam Selfie Awards, The Jam Tour, DigiTour, The Daydream Tour, and many other events across the country. He’s opened for and shared stages with many well-known performers, including Cody Simpson, Skate Maloley, Jacob Whitesides, Jonah Marais, Sebastian Olzasnki, Reed Deming and more. 

Ezra delivers both his original music and current pop cover songs with heartwarming sincerity and beautiful vocals. He draws crowds of all ages and stays late to connect with his waiting audience. Ezra also maintains great fan interaction through his fast-growing social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) 

In June 2016 Ezra independently released his “Paranoia” EP, which he wrote, performed and produced. He has also released four original singles: “When You’re Gone”, “Magic”, “Hold On” and “No Apology”, as well as a self produced cover of Justin Bieber’s “Cold Water”.  Ezra just completed a 16 city tour both east and west coast promoting his new EP, Paranoia which charted 25 on iTunes songwriters charts the day it was released.

The opportunity for Ezra to attend this conference is invaluable for his aspiring career.  He will have the chance to network independently with some of the top industry guests in the field attending our conference this weekend  Thank you Rocket21 for your support of our youth.
